Trail Marker Posts

Vacker offers trail marker posts fabricated from  structural grade recycled plastic lumber and optional TUFF panel inserts. These posts are effective in communicating directional and regulatory information , as well as mileage locations. They are also an effective, yet low profile, entrance marker for secondary park entrances. Posts are bi-color (cedar / medium brown), have a tapered top, routed dado, and panel inserts and/or routed graphics.  Trail marker posts are structural grade, reinforced with fiberglass, and resistant to UV and harsh weather.

Posts with Tuff Panel insert

Bi-color (cedar/brown) posts and TUFF panel inserts allow for a wide range of design flexibility, including full color and complex graphics. A panel insert is mechanically fastened in a routed pocket.  Content can include full color agency logos and information such as a park / trail name, contact information, SEGD national recreational symbols, prohibitive symbols, mile markers and directional arrows.

Posts are available in 4″x4″ (true) 7′ in length. Inserts and/or routing can be done on one, two, three or all four post sides. Standard post color is cedar with a medium brown core.

Clients are asked to provide a sketch with desired content for each desired panel insert to serve as a resource during the design process. Contact us for our Guide to Communicating Your Desired Design. File preparation guidelines are available for those who wish to submit artwork, using our File Prep Guidelines for Trail Marker Posts for Design Professionals.
